Spice Up Your Life!
Yes, they are back! All five of our favourites, Scary, Sporty, Baby, Posh and Ginger, here to ‘holler’ their new album and just a general chat and goss!
So girls, what have you all been up to?
Emma: Well, we’ve all been really busy, just doing our own things really. I mean we’ve all gone our separate ways and been experimenting with new things for the past few years. It’s great to both have a solo career under your belt as well as contributing to a band.
Victoria: Yeah, we’ve all done really different things, I’ve mainly been in LA supporting David over there, but it was good to get away from the band life because I went out there met new people and gained new friends as well as keeping in touch with the old ones.
Sounds like the time apart has been beneficial, worth the wait to get back together?
Geri: Definitely! I mean especially for me because I have had longer apart from the girls, but because it has been so long the love and longing to be for them has grown so being with them now is as sweet as it could be!
Mel C: I totally agree, the time apart has given us time to grow and mature so no more petty arguments and we can really appreciate each other now!
Brilliant! So, are your nicknames still true to yourselves?
Laughing Hysterically Mel C: Oh my god, it’s funny you should ask that cos were all talking about it the other day how our nicknames completely go against what we’re really like now! I am hardly sporty anymore and can barely keep up with all the choreography we’re learning for tour! Well that all is apart from Victoria (fits of giggles).
Victoria: Well I can’t deny that! But definitely Emma is by far the most mature out of us lot and only the cute baby face remains!
Emma: I’m not the only one that’s changed though! I’d say Vicky has taken up two roles, Posh and Scary!! She gets so snappy when our personal shopper buys her the wrong stuff, it really is scary!
Mel B: I don’t like to think my title has floated away! I still have the hair for scary! Pulls a face like a tiger. Grrrrrr! And obviously Geri is still ginger beneath all the hidden colour, she can’t face the red. Ha ha.
But you all still show your qualities of your titles through your performances! So there’s talk of tour, new album, and already a hit single out, an exciting new year?
Geri: Yeah definitely, the new album is back to our roots and old fun loving pop style music, and we just love performing it and it gives us so much energy!
Emma: We all love dressing up and dancing and singing our hearts out because to be known for what we started at is amazing and I just can’t tell you enough how much we love performing and releasing our new albums and bringing our name back into the charts again!
Well girls, it’s obvious your back up and running and raring to go. Us at PG wish you all the best for the future and will be seeing you soon, whether it’s on tour, in the charts or a poster on our bedroom walls!
Oops, she’s done it again! Hit back with her toxic new album ‘Circus’! Yes, our favourite pop princess, Britney Spears, is back! Born to make us happy with an exclusive interview!!
Hi Britney, it’s such an honour to have you here and we are really excited for your new re-launch, what have you been up to for the past year?
Britney: Really all I have been doing is getting back into shape, going to the gym, seeing old friends and of course recording my new album.
We all can’t wait here at PG to listen to it! Is it like the old stuff or over your time away from the limelight have you gained a new sound?
Britney: Well of course I’ve still got the element that I first started off with but I think I’ve developed on that and now have produced my best album ever, with a really fresh and upbeat feel to it.
Fab, we shall all be blaring it out of our speakers here at PG as soon as it comes out! We all had a sneak peek at it though when you gave a phenomenal performance on the X Factor, how was that?
Britney: Performing in the UK has always been amazing for me, the crowds are constantly so adoring and lively. The X Factor was great! I got to meet some great young talents who I know will make it because to be honest, in my view a lot of them are far more talented than when I first started out.
Any news on touring the UK soon then? I know that there are so many PG readers dying to see you on tour!
Britney: My manager and team are currently trying to arrange some new tour dates for this year and we’re probably looking at September 2009, which I am totally psyched for, British crowds are great and really bring the right atmosphere. Plus this year on tour there is going to be a lot more performing as ‘Circus’ requires a lot of choreography and dancing, which I completely love.
Well Britney, it’s obvious you’re back up and running and raring to go. Us at PG wish you all the best for the future and will be seeing you soon, whether it’s on tour, in the charts or a poster on our bedroom walls!
